My first visit in Zurich last December 2010 was quite not enough for me. Besides I had a migraine that time and I did not really enjoyed the sightseeing  when we were there. This is the reason why I told myself to be backed in this city when there will be a chance. Indeed it happened. Some friends invited me to go with them in a day trip to Zurich. I did not hesitated on saying yes to them  despite a week before I just came back from a Spain trip particularly in Barcelona. It was actually a bus trip and it took us around 6 hours to reach this city. We departed somewhere in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany.

While sitting on the bus on our way to Zurich,  one of my friends was checking her facebook and posted on her wall  “going to Zurich”. I smiled when  she mentioned that one of her friends replied  to her wall and said “to open  a Swiss bank account”.  We wished we were but it is not possible at the moment especially for me whom I called myself  “A Travelling Jobless”.  I am quite happy and contented with my second trip to Zurich. Others might not find this city beautiful but for me, it is still worth to visit and to experience. I heard  from someone that Munich, the capital of Bavaria  in Germany is more beautiful than Zurich. I respect him for his  comment. Besides that is  the way he found Zurich.

The Limmat River in Zurich, Switzerland. I had the chance to visit this city for the second time on July 21, 2012.

We had a short cruise in Lake Zurich during my second visit in this city. It was another travel wish came true.

Despite having a summer season during our visit, the weather in Zurich was cloudy and cold that day. We had even worn warm clothes especially that I am not feeling well having cough and cold. Thanks to my friend Joy who suggested to me to wear my other fleece jacket. It was a great suggestion or else I might be freezing during our walk around this city.

The highlight of our visit was the short cruise   we had in Lake Zurich. We enjoyed the scenery around the lake especially looking at the houses, hills and mountains around it.

I had a wonderful time strolling in this city with friends. Thanks God for returning us safe home.

Obviously, you didn’t experience it, but Zurich is famous for a very cool and funky nightlife. Maybe there will be a third visit for you.

I love Zurich! I visited the city during winter last year and found it really nice even though it was rather expensive compared to my usual French city expense 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed your trip, don’t you think the Lake is stunning?
