I was browsing my travel category yesterday and found out that I still did not share any travel stories and experiences I had from  Brussels. Time truly passed-by so fast. It is over two years now since I visited Belgium’s capital city. I had some great memories  with  friends  in Brussels.  The fun and the laughter we shared when we stayed in a friend’s  house near the city was truly great. I also had the chance to see many sights.

Brussels, also known as Bruxelles in French language  or Brussel  in Dutch  is  a famous city  being  the de facto capital  of the European Union.  It is home to many international organisations, politicians, diplomats and civil servants including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Among the sights that are must-to-see in Brussels are Grand Place-Grote Markt, Parc du Cinquantenaire-Jubelpark,  Manneken Pis, Palais de Justice/Justitiepaleis (Law Courts of Brussels), Atomium, Basiliek van het Heilig Hart / Basilique du Sacré Coeur (Basilica Koekelberg), Palais Royale/Koninklijk Paleis (Royal Palace), Statue of Europe, Mini-Europe, Red Light District, The Bourse and more.

I still have the plan of visiting  Brussels  again. Special  thanks to my friends Ching and family for the accommodation and food. I am forever grateful for your kindness and generosity. Anytime, you are also welcome to visit me in   place. I will surely show you around.
