The weather was perfect! I thought it was cold during our visit in St. Moritz lately but we were lucky because the weather was really friendly with sunshine the whole day. I packed with me umbrella and raincoat during that visit to this city.  I did not check the weather forecast  before our trip there. Besides, there is no free  WiFi in our hotel and it was quite expensive if you want one.  I guess 5.00 Euros per hour.  Unlike with the other Italian towns and cities I visited in the past,  6-hours of WiFi only cost 5.00 Euros and sometimes it is for free. I need to buy a  Web stick  soon so that I can have an internet connection  in most European Union countries. It is also not so expensive compared to internet charges at the hotels.

I expected that  it will be raining in St. Moritz considering its elevation of  1,856 meters or  6,090 feet. Wow, I felt like I was on Top of the World when I was there. That is maybe the reason why I saw a lot of signs in St. Moritz that says, “Top of the World”.

Since we were only given an hour to explore the area, I did not wasted my time but had a quick look around. It should be a 2-hour sightseeing but since our bus driver always lost while driving the road, we ended up having an our sightseeing there.

St. Moritz is a resort town in the Engadine valley in Switzerland. It is a municipality in the district of Maloja in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The highest summit in the Eastern Alps, the Piz Bernina, lies a few kilometres south of the town. St. Moritz hosted the Winter Olympics in 1928 and 1948. It is a popular destination of the upper class and international Jet Set, as well as one of the most expensive ski resorts in the world.

Even though, it was only a short time we had going around the city, I am happy that I step in one of the one best-known vacation spots in Europe.

These are only some of the images I took during our trip there. Enjoy viewing!
