DE.Leipzig.DSC_2998 Happy new year 2014 once again! I hope I can share more travel experiences this year. I will try my best to be more diligent so that I can continue to get you posted with my previous travels. I have a lot to share but  sometimes, time is just limited.

Let me continue with my topic here. I believed you already know about Germany’s city with the most shopping arcades. It is stated in my post title and yes, it is Leipzig. This historic city is located in the federal state of Saxony, Germany, around 150 kilometres (93 miles) south of Berlin.

I should use the chance to go some Christmas shopping in many of its malls and arcades  but due to limited time, I was not able to do it. Besides at home, I can also do some online shopping. For example, I love the watches from Reeds.com and still deciding what to buy. Hopefully before I go in my first travel this year, I can  already buy it. Mine is already not working.

During our visit in Leipzig, I preferred to go more on seeing the sights  than  shopping. Before the trip commenced, I already researched  the sights I need  to  see in Leipzig. I am happy to see most of it and I would to share it in my  future article.

Indeed this city has many arcades. The Maedler Passage, Petersbogen, Drei Koenige (Three Kings), Messehof, Petershof, Staedtisches Kaufhaus (city’s shopping mall), Dresdner Hof, Shopping mall at the hauptbahnhof (main train  station), Paunsdorf Center and more.

The highlight of our visit in Leipzig was our visit to the  famous   Leipziger Weinachtsmarkt  or  Christmas market.
