It was a wonderful day despite the cloudy weather in Budweis, known as České Budějovice in Czech language. Visiting the largest city in the South Bohemian Region as well as its political and commercial capital was a lot of fun. I did enjoyed my walk in the area especially at the Ottokar II Square where the Christmas market is currently held.

The building with the 3 towers is the Town Hall with its murals and bronze gargoyles, and the 16th century Black Tower (“Černá věž”).

One of the things, I love when visiting an event like this is to taste its local foods. I tasted a lot that time. I enjoyed watching and listening to the choir who performed that day.  The lead singer might not use a desk mic but everything turned-out good. While munching a Bohemian food that time,  it was good   listening to the choir who performed live that afternoon.  Indeed, it was a lovely day in Budweis.
