I believed many of you had already booked their trip to Munich. In fact, millions of people from around the planet every year are flocking to this famous event to witness this German or I would rather say Bavarian culture and tradition.

Bird’s eye view of the Oktoberfest from the Ferris wheel, my favorite ride when going to  German festivals like these.

Oktoberfest is held annually in this are called Theresienwiese in Munich. It is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810.

I have been to the Oktoberfest many times. I just love the atmosphere in this festival. For me, it is not only a beer festival but it is also an event  where people from all corners of the globe celebrating  the Bavarian culture. What I love most are the music bands that play in every beer tent.  I am amaze by the way they play their guitars like gibson es 330, the beat of the drums, sounds of saxophone or violin, playing of trumpets and other musical gadgets and instruments that you can witness in each musical group.  It is really a festival worth to experience!
