Time flies so fast! It seems like last week when October started. In less than 24 hours from now, another month is about to come! And hey, happy Halloween everyone! Enjoy but be safe please!

First of all, I want to express my gratitude from UP above for making me well and healthy from time to time. I have never been in my deepest moment in my life when I was confined for 25 days at the hospital. Thanks God, I am recovering now. I continue to hope and pray for full healing and recovery. My travel confirmation is finally here! I am so happy after checking the mailbox yesterday. When I opened the envelope, I found out that it is already the confirmation of my next trip. Where would be the next destinations? For now, I will keep it secret!

After finding the cheapest airfare, I immediately booked it before it will get expensive again. Being a frequent  traveler,  I already learned a lot  on how to save time and money when planning or booking for my next vacation. Read more… »

The Sultan Ahmed Mosque has one main dome, six minarets, and eight secondary domes. It was built from 1609 to 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I.

Let me share this photo in memory of the victims of the suicide bomber’s attack in Istanbul, Turkey  last Tuesday, January 12, 2016. It happened  in one of the my favorite spots in this historic city, the Sultanahmet district. This is also the same area where you can find one of the  famous and must-see sight  in Istanbul, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque.  Prayers and condolence to the family, relatives and friends of the victims of Istanbul attack and all the victims of inhuman acts in this planet. .  May the souls of the victims rest in peace.  Also sending my prayers and Read more… »

The sun is shining in this part of the planet! This makes me feel good and it always brightens  my day. How are you folks? I am doing okey  but I miss traveling again. I know  I just returned from my recent travels  but here I go again planning for the next trip.  After cancelling two trips for next month due to career change, I picked-up the phone again awhile ago and booked for a  trip in Europe. I super love this beautiful continent.

The picturesque town of Perast in Montenegro. It lies beneath the hill of St. Ilija (873 m), on a cape that separates the Bay of Risano from that of Kotor, and overlooks the Verige strait, the narrowest part of the Bay of Kotor.

Let me finish this post before going to work. I have to accept the truth that I fall in love with Montenegro the first time I stepped on it.  When I visited it for the first time back in 2013, I told myself that I wanted to go back there again.  It did materialized during  my recent round trip in the Balkans last month. It was the third day of sightseeing in Turkey.  We stayed in a nice hotel in Ayvalik and from there, the bus will start rolling going to our next destination which is Sardis.  That morning, I set the  alarm at 5:30 and even set it two times to make it sure that I will wake up at the right time.  I need to be ready before before going  for breakfast which starts at 6:00.  At around 7:30, the bus already started its journey.

The Altar outside the entrance of Artemis much older than the temple, from as early as the 6th century BC. In the Hellenistic period the altar was incorporated into a large stepped platform that still exists.

The sky was gray and cloudy when we left Ayvalik. After an hour driving on the road, the sun was slowly shining. This is the advantage of going in a group tour, everything is already organized and you don’t need to worry about accommodation, meals and transportation. Read more… »

It was a memorable trip last summer 2014 in Poland. You know why?  It is where I celebrated my birthday. One of the places I visited was Opole. It is a city in southern Poland on the Oder River (Odra).  The city is also known as the capital of the historical region Upper Silesia.

I had the chance to go around the city with other   German tourists. We actually had a tour guide that time.  After the tour, we were given the time  to explore  the place on our own.  For now, let me just share this photo of a beautiful fountain in Opole since I am slowly going to workland.

It was one of the most memorable   travels I had last 2013.  That cruise in the Baltic Region of Europe was indeed a great experience seeing various cities and countries in the region.  One of the cities we visited was the capital of Estonia, Tallinn.  The sightseeing tour we had in the city was all worth it seeing its most historic sights from Medieval Old Town, Raekoja Plats and its Town Hall, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, City Wall and more. We also passed-by its famous Viru Gate and here a photo of this gate.

The sky was gray during that visit. It was winter and this is what you can expect during this season of the year. Regensburg is one of my favorite cities especially in the region of Bavaria, commonly known as Bayern in German. It is a beautiful city and its medieval centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I can’t exactly remember how many times did I already visited the place but when I have visitors from afar, I  always take them here.

Switzerland is one of the 22 countries (or I would say 23 over-all including my second home Germany)  I visited last 2013. It was so far the most traveled year I had during my existence on planet earth. I am wondering if it will happen again? As of now, I had visited 6 countries and many cities especially in Asia and Europe.

St. Moritz is one of the places I experienced in Switzerland last summer 2013. During that time, we took the Bernina Express from Tirano, Italy to Pontresina, a municipality in the district of Maloja in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. From there, we took the bus going to St. Moritz.

Festivals all year round! These are some of the things I love in Germany. You can experience it in any seasons of the year. These so-called Volksfest or People’s Fair for example are very prevalent not only on summer season but also on spring and autumn or fall seasons. Imagine going to the world’s most famous and biggest festival, the Oktoberfest in Munich!

A beer tent in one of the Volksfest I attended in Bavaria, Germany. It is still not full when we went inside.

The one held in Stuttgart known as the Canstatter Volkfest is also a fabulous festival to visit. Although  this Volksfest is not strictly speaking a beer festival, it is considered by many to be the second largest beer celebration in the world after the Munich Oktoberfest. Read more… »
