Good evening Europe! I am about to sign off but let me finish this first before I evaporate to dreamland. Anyway, I want to thank High Above for the beautiful weekend I had. There are just so many things to be thankful off and the greatest is the gift of life!

I am quite excited now. The next adventure us about to come. I can wait to explore a new country and more places to see. I am also thinking of buying some travel souvenirs. I want something unique and was already thinking of ukulele. Are you familiar with this music instrument?

One disadvantage is, it is quite bulky for my luggage. If I cannot buy one in my next destination, I might get the mahalo ukulele at guitarcenter.com. Would you think it is a good idea folks!

Enjoy the coming week but be safe! Cheers!

I love seeing these people who are earning their while playing musical instruments and maybe financing their travels. They should visit musiciansfriend.com focusrite scarlett 2i2. I am finally back from outer space! How’s everyone doing out there? How’s your first weeks of 2017? Wow, time passes so quickly now. The first month of the year is almost ending and we will be entering another month of 2017. I hope you are all having a wonderful start of the year and that the rest of it will always bring more blessings, peace, contentment and good health to all of you.

So far, things are getting very better for me and I am so thankful about it. I hope this year, I can travel to some places I never been to. My greatest wish of all is to always have good health always and that all basic needs are provided from day to day.

Anyway back to the main topic… I have a friend before who was asking me to buy a musical accessories called MF mxr distortion plus. The main problem is the shipping to his country. I might have a difficulty shipping it to him so I decided not to order it for him. I old him to visit the site where he can buy it. Until now, I have not heard from him so I guess, he already bought what he needed.

If you are trying to search for any musical instruments, gadgets and accessories, don’t hesitate to visit Musicians Friend. They will be happy to serve you! Enjoy shopping!

Beating of the Drums at the New Year’s Eve http://www.europetravelpad.com/2016/12/beating-of-the-drums-at-the-new-years-eve/ http://www.europetravelpad.com/2016/12/beating-of-the-drums-at-the-new-years-eve/#respond Fri, 16 Dec 2016 21:00:46 +0000 http://www.europetravelpad.com/?p=1068 This time of the year is the most wonderful for me! I wish, I am with my family back home to celebrate it…then Christmas would be merrier and happier. I am hoping one day, I will go home for good and spend the happiest times of my life with my family.

Anyway, there is something I would like to share with you today. This is how we celebrate New Year in my home country. At New Year’s Eve, we usually play some instruments or gadgets to start the year. I would say, the louder, the better. It is our belief to cast away the bad spirits. I could remember during my childhood when we grab a big tin can or plastic pail and hit it with a stick to make loud sounds. If I were rich during those time, I might be beating a matt halpern snare drum.

This coming new year 2017, I will surely make loud sounds again. I hope I win the million Euro lottery tonight to buy my favorite musical instruments. lol!

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2017! Cheers!

I also do the same. In fact, some of my dreams and wishes are slowly coming true. If you work hard for it, you can simply achieve it! Hard work and perseverance is always the key of reaching your dreams.

I still have one wish that I am hoping to come true this year. I wish to watch a live orchestra or opera show in Europe. Whether it is in the London Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra, etcetera, anywhere in Europe would do for me, as long as I experience it live.

I want to hear those interesting musical instruments like pipe organ, nord piano, flutes, viloin, trumpets, clarinets, tuba, cellos, cymbals, bassoons, lute and what else folks?

I wish I can play any musical instruments. What kind of musical gadgets do you play?

In fact, millions of people from around the planet every year are flocking to this famous event to witness this German or I would rather say Bavarian culture and tradition.

Bird’s eye view of the Oktoberfest from the Ferris wheel, my favorite ride when going to  German festivals like these.

Oktoberfest is held annually in this are called Theresienwiese in Munich. It is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810.

I have been to the Oktoberfest many times. I just love the atmosphere in this festival. For me, it is not only a beer festival but it is also an event  where people from all corners of the globe celebrating  the Bavarian culture. What I love most are the music bands that play in every beer tent.  I am amaze by the way they play their guitars like gibson es 330, the beat of the drums, sounds of saxophone or violin, playing of trumpets and other musical gadgets and instruments that you can witness in each musical group.  It is really a festival worth to experience!

Never Ending Fun in a German Festival http://www.europetravelpad.com/2016/08/never-ending-fun-in-a-german-festival/ http://www.europetravelpad.com/2016/08/never-ending-fun-in-a-german-festival/#respond Thu, 18 Aug 2016 18:52:25 +0000 http://www.europetravelpad.com/?p=1048 It is time to be backed here and give you a little update! How are you doing folks? Are you currently having the time of your life? I hope so. I can’t complain at the moment but I just wish that I am in the other side of the world right now. If traveling is only for free, I will surely visit every corner of this beautiful planet.

DE.nurnberg.IMG_0018

Let’s go back to the main topic. I am already missing a lot of fun this summer. Since I work full time, I don’t have so much time anymore to enjoy the festivals going around in Europe especially here in Germany. At the moment, some fairs are going on in the nearby towns and cities.

I hope this weekend, I will have time to visit a Volksfest or festival in Neumarkt. I already miss  gallivanting around the beer tents while listening to the  different live bands playing every now and then especially with their gibson acoustic guitar. I love listening to the beat of the drums,  the strumming of guitars and violins, blow of trumpets and other instruments. I also love tasting different local delicacies and enjoying the carnival rides.

Anyone who is up with me to visit a German festival?
