The sun is shining in this part of the planet! This makes me feel good and it always brightens  my day. How are you folks? I am doing okey  but I miss traveling again. I know  I just returned from my recent travels  but here I go again planning for the next trip.  After cancelling two trips for next month due to career change, I picked-up the phone again awhile ago and booked for a  trip in Europe. I super love this beautiful continent.

The picturesque town of Perast in Montenegro. It lies beneath the hill of St. Ilija (873 m), on a cape that separates the Bay of Risano from that of Kotor, and overlooks the Verige strait, the narrowest part of the Bay of Kotor.

Let me finish this post before going to work. I have to accept the truth that I fall in love with Montenegro the first time I stepped on it.  When I visited it for the first time back in 2013, I told myself that I wanted to go back there again.  It did materialized during  my recent round trip in the Balkans last month. It was one of the most memorable   travels I had last 2013.  That cruise in the Baltic Region of Europe was indeed a great experience seeing various cities and countries in the region.  One of the cities we visited was the capital of Estonia, Tallinn.  The sightseeing tour we had in the city was all worth it seeing its most historic sights from Medieval Old Town, Raekoja Plats and its Town Hall, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, City Wall and more. We also passed-by its famous Viru Gate and here a photo of this gate.

The sky was gray during that visit. It was winter and this is what you can expect during this season of the year. Regensburg is one of my favorite cities especially in the region of Bavaria, commonly known as Bayern in German. It is a beautiful city and its medieval centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I can’t exactly remember how many times did I already visited the place but when I have visitors from afar, I  always take them here.

It seems that somebody is traveling again soon. This will be my first official  travel in 2014. I am not really an official but I am  just saying that this will be my first  long trip  for this year.  This was already booked  last year and it was  very cheap considering all the things that are included in this holiday.

With this coming travel, I am already researching the main sights to see or things to do  in these places that we will be visiting.

The Doumo or Florence Cathedral during my visit in autumn 2013. It is also known as the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore.

We actually had a discount because we booked it earlier last November 2013. I received a travel flyer  saying that if we book it before November 11, we will have a discount of 200.00 Euros. This is really a great holiday package.  Read more… »

After St. Petersburg, our destination the next day was Helsinki, the capital of Finland. It was our fifth day of cruising the Baltic Sea, called by Germans as Baltikum or Ostsee. The Baltic Sea is a mediterranean sea located between Central and Northern Europe.

It was a wonderful winter trip in Leipzig! The weather was not so cold and the sun was shining. From our hotel in Schwarzheide, it took us over two hours to reach the city of Leipzig. It was a bus trip and buses usually have limited speed in German autobahn or highway. If I am not mistaken, bus drivers are only allowed up to 100 km/h. If you are driving your own car, it is quite faster because you can drive faster on the highway.

I am trying to remember some trips I did last 2013. I have a lot to share visiting 23 European countries last year but my time is always limited. I am such a very busy person and never gets bored when I am at home. 2013 was so far the most-travelled year I experienced in my life. I might not be able to do it again this year but for sure, I will be travelling again soon.

I had a great time visiting Linz especially its Christmas Market. Thanks to this bus company from Regensburg, Germany, who offered a cheap trip to Austria’s third largest city. I did not regret booking that trip. Even though I was alone during that travel, I still made the most and best of it.  It  was so far a wonderful   time  for me visiting  Linz!

I am back here again! I have such a busy life that I was not able to  post some updates here. Besides I just came back from a trip in Italy and still trying to regain some  lost energy from that trip. I am glad that I am here again to  give you an update.

The House of the Blackheads in the Old Town Square. The original building was erected during the first third of the 14th century for the Brotherhood of Blackheads, a guild for unmarried German merchants in Riga.

Let’s go back to Riga this time.  Time flies so fast that it is over a year now since I visited Latvia’s capital city. It was autumn last 2012 and the weather was already cold in this pat of the  Baltic States.  I have been to many capital cities in Europe and I would say, Riga has its won beauty. No wonder it is also visited by  international tourists from around the globe. Read more… »

I was browsing some old photographs from my previous travels last night. I landed in one of the albums with 10GB used space in my external hard drive. This is the photo album during my previous vacation in England, almost five years ago.

Oh yes, it was a great trip in one of the beautiful countries in Europe called England, which is a part of United Kingdom. During that three weeks vacation, I was able to visit many places and cities including the famous birthplace of William Shakespeare called Stratford-Upon-Avon.
